Lauren Williams, LVN

I grew up in Midlothian and graduated the nursing program at Navarro College in 2012. I’ve always wanted to work with children, so when the opportunity came up, I took it! I joined the Irvin family in 2013, and I have loved every minute of it since. I am truly blessed to work with wonderful students and their families! Please know if you need anything, my door is always open. Feel free to contact me at 469.856.6000 regarding any health concerns you may have for your child while attending Irvin Elementary.

Our policy is that students should not attend school or will be sent home for:

  • Undetermined rash over any part of the body accompanied by fever
  • Nausea, Vomiting or Diarrhea.
  • Red, draining eyes
  • Intense itching with signs and symptoms of secondary infection
  • Open, draining lesions
  • Jaundice

Students cannot return to school after being treated for pinkeye or strep throat until they have been on antibiotics and fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.

For readmission, some illnesses may require a statement from the student’s physician stating the student is not contagious.
